In fact, Raymath’s owners actively participate in the
day-to-day operations of the company. Additionally,
our team, experienced experts in their fields, are cross-trained
to assist in other areas.

Our management team has held management positions at major companies and has managed resourceful organizations recognized worldwide. Top management includes: BILL MOORE, CHAIRMAN & TREASURER

A graduate from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and Masters in Industrial Management, Bill started his career with General Electric in their Information Services Division. Bill was quickly promoted to G.E.’s Lighting Division, and then to an executive position in the G.E./Trane Air Conditioning Division. After many career successes, Bill then moved on to become President of Steelcraft, the world’s largest manufacturer of commercial steel doors and frames, as well as President of Perma-Door, the residential steel door and frame division of Steelcraft, where he held that position for 12 years. During his tenure, the company added many high value products and services to better serve its customers and resulted in rapid growth.
In addition to his management experience at major companies,
Bill brings a wealth of knowledge in manufacturing disciplines
such as TQM, Kaizan and Demand Flow–JIT which are key
systems used to continually improve the internal processes
as well as the customer experiences at Raymath.
JIM RUEF, PRESIDENT & CEO

Jim Ruef graduated from The General Motors Institute of Technology with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a graduate of the University of Dayton with a Masters in Business Administration. Jim began his career at General Motors in the Frigidaire Division as an Engineer. After 8 years, he joined the Steelcraft Division of American Standard in Manufacturing Engineering where he rose to the position of Vice President of Operations, and remained with Steelcraft for 12 years. During his tenure, Jim was involved with many of the Steelcraft’s most successful operational improvements, including their JIT initiatives. After Steelcraft was sold to Masco, Jim was promoted to President of Acme Door, a manufacturer of commercial entry doors and other construction products, and Atlas Door, a manufacturer of commercial rolling doors. Both were a division of Masco. In 1996, Jim joined Clopay Building Products as Vice President of their Commercial Strategic Business Unit until 1999, when he left to join Bill Moore in the acquisition of Raymath.
In addition to his vast management experience at major
companies, Jim brings a wealth of knowledge in manufacturing
disciplines such as TQM, SPC and JIT which are key systems
used to continually improve the internal processes as
well as the customer experiences at Raymath.
Jim's desire to partner with individuals who wanted to work together as a team became a reality when he joined forces with Bill Moore. Thanks to this partnership, Raymath partners with its valued customers, suppliers and a talented workforce to create a “True Partner in Product Development and Production.”
Bill Moore and Jim Ruef acquired Raymath in 2000 with
a dedication to differentiate Raymath from and offer
service and value to exceed that offered by other metal
fabrication companies.
RAY MATHIEU, VICE PRESIDENT ENGINEERING & R & D

Ray Mathieu, founded Raymath and guided it over for 19 years. He is still involved on a daily basis in creating many engineering solutions for satisfied Raymath customers. Under his leadership, Raymath developed a reputation as an innovator and high quality manufacturing company, offering Tool and Product Design, Production Stamping, Forming, Assembly and Welding.
He holds a Baccalaureate in Science Lycee Poincare,
was a Certified Aircraft Mechanic Instructor for the
US Army, Certified Model Maker while in Tool Design
& Production at NCR, Manager of Prototype Development
at Hobart (Germany) and Development Engineer at Hobart.
Ray holds many patents for scores of Raymath’s clients,
and he can deliver an innovative design solution
for you, too!
CATHY ROBSON, PERSONNEL & ADMINISTRATION

Cathy supports all of Raymath’s employees in the area
of human resource and is responsible for all accounting
functions. With her vast experience in a number of areas
including payroll, accounting, customer service, purchasing,
and training of employees, she is an integral part of
the Raymath team. Her background knowledge in topics
such as: ISO 9001-2000 Requirements & Internal Auditor
Training, Family & Medical Leave Act, OSHA Recordkeeping,
Employment Law From A to Z, Cafeteria Plans & Premium
Only Plan, Relating Quality Management to Workforce
Diversity, etc., are what makes her such an essential
part of the Raymath team.
STEVE EAKINS, MANUFACTURING

Steve directs the manufacturing activities to assure Raymath customers receive quality products on time. He also handles the support areas of manufacturing engineering, programming, quality assurance and maintenance.
Steve is a graduate of The University Of Dayton with
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has
completed Hobart welding school and is certified in
MTM and time study. Past experience includes manufacturing
and engineering management positions in medical, contract
fabrication, computer related product and industrial
equipment industries. He has extensive experience in
product development of fabricated products to meet our
customers' need.
RUSS WHEELER, QUALITY SYSTEMS

Russ directs the development of quality plans, systems,
and data analysis to assure our products meet the needs
of our valued customers. He works with the entire Raymath
team to develop methods and systems for continuous improvement
in all of our processes.
Russ is a graduate of Ohio Northern University, The
Hobart Institute of Welding Technology, and is a Six
Sigma Black Belt having earned registration from Six
Sigma Academy. His job experiences include product management,
service management, planning, purchasing, scheduling
as well as quality management.
